Обрезание подседельного штыря

сабж.
длинна подседельника - 30 см вышло
длинна трубы - 432mm/17"(эту цифру я не поняла, если честно, потому что труба точно короче штыря раза в два. видимо запятая пропущена в спецификации вела или это не то, что я думаю).
15 см
расстояние от конца трубы до аммортизатора около 5 см

короче высоко сижу... очень высоко для фрирайдного байка.
к тому же штырь телескопический...

хочецца отрезать 10 см.
можно ли так много отрезать?

Длинна трубы видимо указана не реальная, а виртуальная. Т.е. от отверстия до каретки

у меня Мка - после отпила - если целиком засунуть в подсидельную трубу - остается 2,5-3 см. но можно и еще спилить смело - он же ТЕЛЕСКОПИЧЕСКИЙ!!!
ХИНТ. его очень удобно пилить засунув в цилиндрическую коробочку от фотопленки!

чем пилить-то? в смысле какой разновидностью пило-режущего инструмента? ножовкой, болгаркой, струной под напряжением?
нафих мне коробочки от фотопленки, когда я могу его в нормальных условиях нормальными "тисками" прижать к столу.

хм.. я один из своих штырей 5 минут пилил, аж взмок. Это атом был, хорошо, хоть титановый пилить не надо..

В общем должно остаться хотя бы 10 см внешней части штыря - это стандартная длина, которую производители метят для маскимального вытаскивания штыря из трубы.

а по ней ровно! ибо в нее идеально влезает подсидельник! пилить кстати долго - тк он "двойной" и незабудь заусенцы потом зарихтовать!
