What does not fit is made to fit! The Tanpan inline version allows the use of the adapter even with frame with internal coatings in the chainstays. By Wolftooth Tanpan Inline Adapter you can adapt lever units on the transmission ratio of Shimano MTB derailleurs the ratio of Shimano 10-speed road bike. It is thus possible, 10x mountain bike cassette to drive with a wide margin translation in combination with robust MTB derailleurs on Gravel bike, cyclocross or road bike. Ideal is this combination for 1-up drives, since the lack of small chainring can be compensated by the increased bandwidth of the cassette. The adapter is simply integrated in height of the handlebar into the existing cable housing of the rear derailleur. A screw for adjusting the tension is integrated in the adapter. Thus, the train can move without friction, the Tanpan is equipped with a sealed ball bearing. At just 17 grams, the extra weight on the bike is manageable.
NOTE: Not compatible with Tiagra shifters 4700!
Possible combinations with 10-speed or 11-speed Shimano Mid Cage (GS) MTB derailleurs:
11-32: 1-way and 2-way drive
11-34: 1-way and 2-way drive
11-36: 1-way and 2-way drive
11-40: only 1-fold (using Wolftooth GoatLink adapter recommended)
11-42: only 1-fold (using Wolftooth GoatLink adapter recommended)
Possible combinations with 10-speed or 11-speed Shimano Long Cage (SGS) MTB derailleurs:
11-32: 1-way and 2-way drive
11-34: 1-way and 2-way drive
11-36: 1-way and 2-way drive

11-42: 1-way and 2-way drive (using Wolftooth GoatLink adapter recommended)
