9. EQUIPMENT
•It is mandatory to wear a helmet during the whole duration of the race, both during the transfers as well as during the special stages.
•While undertaking Special Stages (P.S.)
it is mandatory to wear CE approved full-face crash helmet, gloves, knee-pads and back protector.
• Contestants lacking a helmet at departure will be disqualified.
•Two types of helmets are allowed. A lighter XC version helmet during the transfers and full face helmet during the special stages.
•Each contestant must be completely self-sufficient and must not receive external assistance throughout the race with the exception of the paddock area whose exact location will be announced by the management, where the participants pass through at the beginning and end of each lap, and each Team can provide assistance to its racers.
•It is advised that each participant display an approach to the competition according to his/her individual technical skill and athletic training.
•It is suggested you bring your mobile phone with you in order to be contacted or to contact the organizers yourself during the race in case of need. During the briefing, the organizers will announce the phone number to contact in case of an emergency. The phone number will also be printed on the timetable every participant will have punched onto the bicycle. - See more at:
