каков опыт использования вилсетов от Мавика в общем и конкретно интересуют Кроссмаксы ХЛ, есть ли проблемы?

У меня опыт недолгий, но круглогодичный - 2 зимы на КроссРок (никаких нареканий) 1 зиму на КроссМакс (опять всё замечательно) Мою колёса после каждого катания - втулки стараюсь не заливать. КроссМакс прекрасно протягиваются ключом, идущим в комплекте.

Было такое дело "Залип" Фокс - они это называют "сток даун" - до конца не разжимался. В Велоимперии признали гарантийным случаем, исправили бесплатно за 40 мин.

Нарекания, всё равно, есть...кудаж без них )
Грязища летит с колес (с обоих) аккурат, куда не надо - мыть потом заипёсси. Заметил, наверное - у меня под нижней трубой отсекатель стоит. Очень аморт мне за это благодарный )
На моделях 06-го года ситуация усугубилась. Джайант изменили узел крепления аммо ( пишут, что для большей жёсткости рамы, только мне кажется - для упрощения/удешевления процесса производства. ) Так вот - там теперь совсем всё плохо - вся грязь с переднего колеса летит на амморт. Отсекатель идёт в комплекте

Меня ждет схожая уцчесть. Являюсь обладателем рамы Speсialized Enduro S-Works 2003 года розлива. Там амморт тоже открыт всем ветрам.
А вот то, что на трансе в 2006 году сделали другую "клетку" я знаю. Тоже присматривался к этой раме.

Да, на Спеш труднее придумать, как отсекатель ставить... Его, теоретически, можно крепить на верхнюю ось "коромысла", на которое крепится амморт.

По поводу кроссмаксов сильно думаю. Цена кусается. Тянет на сбор из топового ДТ (440+суперкомп+5.1) - и то дешевле будет.

Выбор из представленного списка - это отдельная тема! Весь прикол в том что, в тот момент вопрос денег жёстко не ограничивал - я мог выбирать ЛЮБУЮ из перечисленных. Сильнее прочих я склонялся к SC Blur - но, как я упоминал выше, напрягла странно-короткая база. Кляйн Паломино, с его эксклюзивным аммортом, напряг ещё сильнее - я как представил себе долгие месяцы ожидания доставки какой-нибудь запчасти к нему ( :huh: ) - так вся охота пропала. Роки Маунтины... не брасайте в меня помидорами...за разницу в цене рам можно собрать хороший хардтэйл. И это только пол-дела. У ETSX, по сравнению с TRANCE, скверная торсионная жёсткость. Увы. А SLAYER- это однорычажка - со всеми вытекающими. Кадейл тоже. К тому-же, Веломир славится супер ценами на обслуживание
Так чта, при всём богатстве выбора - для себя лично - GIANT TRANCE "РЕШАЕТ"! :D

По поводу кроссмаксов сильно думаю. Цена кусается. Тянет на сбор из топового ДТ (440+суперкомп+5.1) - и то дешевле будет.</td>
