А вообще имею возможность реально сравнить два велика : Merida Matts sport 100 и GT Avalanche 2.0
в принципе мне мерида нравится больше по накатистости и мягкости. И чувствуется в велике какой-то особый подход(прикольно все сделано), хотя с виду кажется все менее прочным чем на аваланче. Аваланч более жесткий, я на нем устаю при езде сильнее..</td>

А обвес одинаковый стоит и там и там?
я например на своём ава20 иногда медленно ехал когда насоса небыло под рукой иногда пулял с места. Зависило от вобщем то давления в колёсах.
А у друзей так же на меридах менее злые покрышки и по городу при скорости в 35 км и выше это конечно же сказывалось. меня делали ну на пол колеса на дороге протя полкилометра. Это когда мы тапочку наперегонки топили.
Но мне ава понравился тем что он более надёжный чем калахари. А ещё мне калахарь показался более тяжёлым. Сичас у меня на раме мэт спорт байк собран

Зависит от того, насколько они дешевые
Катался на дешевой дисковой механике двух видов:
1. Promax 400 - совсем дешево, диски кривые, тормозит вроде более-менее (новичку проще учиться тормозить без полетов через руль), но ломучие. У меня на велосе прожили 3 сезона, а у жены за сезон сдох задний тормоз, и подыхает поставленный ему на замену такой же.
2. Avid BB5 - очень понравились. Недорого (если покупать отдельно от велоса - 50 баксов за сторону, если с велосом в комплекте - то дешевле существенно) и классно.

Сейчас начал кататься на дешевой гидравлике (Armor) - будем посмотреть, как оно...
Пока по сравнению с Авидом легче блокируются, но модуляция не лучше (если даже не хуже, хотя мб дело привычки)

Пробовал после дискачей кататься с вибрейками - не понравилось категорически. Не то, чтобы я на них убираюсь или еще чего плохое случается. Нет. Но неудобно. Особенно неудобно медленно сползать с горки. И после луж/грязи они тормозить отказываются.

честно говоря после просмотра всех тем про настройку дисковых, я думаю теперь что лучше брать из дешёвых велов те что на вибрейках, тк дешёвые дисковые задолбаешься настраивать. Свои вибрейки настраиваю оочень редко, правда грязь конечно им мешает но скорее всего придётся чаще настраивать дешёвые дисковые, чем залезать в грязь

Проблем с настойкой дисковых я особо не боюсь, я со своими деорами и со своими гнутым задним ободом и осью к всему привык А вот грязь и снег действительно частенько напрягают, да и на крайняк со старого переставлю вполне нормальные тормоза на новый -) По поводу мериды, ИМХО, дороговата она за свой обвес.

Разве они не проигрывают по обвесу тому же Харо В4? Треки вообще показались уж больно простыми. Хотя возможно я слишком многого хочу за такие деньги. Но все же.

UPD: вообще если не сложно могли бы приводить доводы в пользу того или иного байка. Единственное в чем не могу быть уверенным так это в раме харо, искал отзывы в нете, но мало что нашел определенного. Вроде как в некоторых местах пишут, что она не уступает раме валанча... но не более.

тоже хочу купить себе вел до 15,000, остановил свой выбор на Аваланче 2.0, но расцветка голубая не нравится, а черных нет пока, в связи с этим увидел другой внешне красивый вел Chucker 2.0, как раз черного цвета, кто что скажешь насчет него? Или я ошибся и это вел для подростков?
