А пешеходы должны идти навстречу, но не по полосе, а по обочине! Это (по крайней мере по ПДД) не одно и то же.</td>

Я имел ввиду не совсем обочину, а крайне правое положение, зачастую, граничащее с обочиной или переростающее в неё. А вот ещё, мне часто приходилось ехать по дороге с крутыми поворотами, за которыми не видно самой дороги (особенно, если поворот направо), в этих случаях движение по встречке, на мой взгляд оправдано. Если соблюдать правила, то водитель начавший поворот за вами, во время поворота может потерять вас из виду, а центробежка толкает велосипедиста к ценрту дороги, по той же причине водитель старается прижаться вправо... Со всеми вытекающими.
Блин! Вчера, со всей семьей (я, жена, сын (6 лет)) прокатились десяточек км на сон грядущий. Дорогу переходили только в положенных местах и спешившись, но иногда там, где нет светофоров (но по зебре), хоть бы кто остановился и дорогу уступил, стояли минут 5. Хорошо за рулем одного авто была женщина, притормозила. При этом в 5 метрах от нас стоял гаец и смотрел на нас, не сподобился он палочкой помахать - нас пропустить. :angry:

подрезал водила, выезжающий на главную, на светофоре у меня был зеленый, у него - вероятно, поворот направо. Догнал и двинул по багажнику. Он притормозил, о..ел, опустил стекло и попытался наехать. Я в простой и доходчивой форме объяснил, что в следующий раз я ему по стеклу двину, если вообще затормозить успею, и чтоб он больше не подрезал. К сожалению, не успел объяснить, что тогда он не только заменит себе бампер за полштуки, но и мой фреймсет за штуку...

В позапрошлом году разбил об открывшуюся перед носом дверь машины прекрасную скандиевую раму - пока суд да дело, водила потихоньку свалил. Номер машины и владельца (азерботку, какую-то) установили - дэпээсники сказали "хочешь чего-нибудь добиться - подавай в суд, ищи свидетелей, звони водителю". Но, т.к. свидетелей не было, по домашнему телефону водилы никто не отвечал, машина была оформлена на супругу, то и получить с него ничего не сумел. Теперь как огня боюсь паркующиеся у обочины автомобили - завидев такой стараюсь не выскакивать у него из-за жопы, а объезжать на безопасном расстоянии, или, если такого расстояния нет - сбрасываю скорость и стараюсь привлечь внимание (машу рукой). В прошлом сезоне поднимаясь по балаклавке в горку, врезался в припарковавшуюся прямо перед носом машину (не сильно, но неожиданно и весьма неприятно). Т.к. поднимался в приличную горку, то посмотрел вперед - машин справа у обочины не стоит, ну и, ес-но, привстал и смотрел под нос. А она вдруг притормозила у обочины, ну я её ес-но и не заметил. Водитель и супруга выбежали (они сами страшно перепугались) - начали спрашивать "как, ничего не болит? не убился? давай мы тебе поможем. ах. ох." Короче, приятные попались люди, ну я извинился и поехал дальше. Теперь всегда, сколь не было трудно, поднимаю голову, чтобы убедиться - никого нет :D А больше, сколько катал, неприятных случаев на дорогах (а я в городе только по ним и перемещаюсь) не было, наоборот, всегда пропускали, вежливо уступали дорогу. Полагаю, отчасти, это из-за крайне "упакованного" вида - думали "о, спортсмен" А то, что на детей всяких водилы кричат, думаю, правильно. Кому хочется из-за малолетнего урода сидеть?
ЗЫ ..и ненавижу велосипедистов, которые едут против движения. Когда вижу таких, то прибавляю скорость и на встречном курсе отжимаю их от правой обочины - пусть под машины катят, козлы. :angry:

Насчет вынужденных маневров - дорога на четыре полосы - 2 туда, 2 навстречу. Фура ползет по левому ряду (движения, собственно, нет), я еду под горку навстречу. Этот баран _специально_ прижимает меня к обочине, чтобы я вылетел в кювет... И кто тут, млять, совершает "вынужденный маневр", а?

Ну-ну. В случае чего, так "с зеркалами" и похоронят...
Ну плевать водителям на попутных велосипедистов - сколько ни старался "соблюдать ПДД", все время с этим сталкивался. В случае чего, инцидент будет фатальным, а водитель КАМАЗа только омахнется - типа, "я его не заметил".
Когда же я еду по встречке - я полностью контролирую текущую ситуацию, плюс, _каждый_ встречный автовод меня замечает.

Желающих пособлюдать текущие ПДД "с зеркалами" - милости прошу, особенно, в дачный сезон

Не слепят. 3/4 автоводов, по моим наблюдениям - переключают, хех.
А красный поджопник и габариты - само собой, включены постоянно.
Я бы и рад ездить по правилам, но жить-то хочется :angry:

По обочине Вы можете ехать с любой стороны дороги. По покрытию только справа.
Если Вы стоите на тротуаре, то никто и не должен останавливаться. Вы или должны показать, что хотите перейти или сделать шаг на зебру. Вот тогда неуступивший водитель нарушает правила и может быть оштрафован.

Пару недель назад тоже неприятный случай был. Ехала где-то часов в 10 вечера в районе Электрозаводской (соответственно при включенных фаре и маячке). Со второстепенной дороги выруливала девятка. Я рукой показываю что еду прямо, чтоб пропустил. Так нет этот... хм.. водитель влез таки в поворот, вытесняя меня на середину полосы. А дорога там достаточно узкая и движение плотное. Стремно как-то. В итоге меня оборали матом из машины которая ехала за мной (ведь не поленился притормозить).

</table> В ПДД просто и ясно записано - езда на велосипеде по правой стороне дороги, на расстоянии до 1 м от края дороги, т.е. от обочины или от разметки, и по разгонно- полосе, если таковая существует. Не будь идиотом,соблюдай ПДД хоть иногда, тем более, что на этой дороге обочины есть.

По городу я езжу только по тратуарам, пипл слалом, так кажется называется. Это нарушение правил, как я понимаю правила. Но езда по дороге просто может плохо кончиться, даже здесь, на этой ветке полно веломаньяков, попадавших в ДТП. Я не исключение. Однажды, лет 15 назад был особо запоминающийся случай. У меня тогда был вел "Украина", поехал я покататься за городом. Выехал на дорогу, на перекрестке пропустил по главной ЗИЛ-фургон. Машин кроме не было ни в каких направлениях. Я за ним увязался: он быстрей - я быстрей, он притормаживает - я то же. Видимо, ему в этом что-то не понравилось, уйти от меня ему не получалось, скорость не набиралась, машина жалобно ревела, а уйти не получалось. Тогда он развил максимальную скорость, я то же. Не то что бы я был вредина, просто обгонять его никакого резона мне не было, но и ехать медленней то же не хотелось. Так вот, на своей максимальной скорости он резко тормозит, я то же, но что-то не сработало и вместо шшшшш, заднее колесо просто начало плавно сбавлять обороты. Я влепился в зад фуры, боком. От удара у меня треснуло ухо, растяжение мышц шеи, сотряс и ссадины от падения. Но падения я не помню, мне потом рассказали, что я как упал, так сразу вскочил как ужаленный. У медиков даже термин есть какой-то, определяющий это вскакивание на подсознательном уровне. Говорят, что люди даже со сломанными ногами встают, лишь потом падают опять. Зачем ему было тормозить? Дорога ровная, других машин не было. Он тут же скрылся! Даже не вылез посмотреть! Народ потом рассказал, что он выглянул в окно, увидел, что я встал, и по газам. Домой я вернулся после травмпункта (никакого дела не заводили), весь окровавленный и грязный. Хорошо еще блевотик не случился. Дистанция до него была метров 10. Причина плохого торможения возможно крылась в попадании мелких частиц смазки в область торможения задней втулки.
Конечно, в этом случае есть моя вина! Я не отрицаю. Но, если бы водила не проявил верх вредности, ничего этого не случилось бы. Моя вина, как я считаю, в данном случае заключалась в том, что я не перебрал вел после года перерыва в катании. Но торможение в менее экстренном режиме проходило штатно, я и доверился. Я и потом катался на этом веле, тормозил он вполне прилично, может та смазка, что попала "перетерлась"?
Нет! По трассе только по встречке. Объясните мне, почему я не должен этого делать? Если я еду по направлению, то меня всё равно объезжать. Еду не по обочине, а по самой крайней правой (которая для меня левая) части дороги 5-10 см от края асфальта, иногда за белой полосой, если она имеется, но по асфальту. Если вижу опасность на дороге, например, сложный обгон или наличие крупногабаритных авто на встречных курсах - съезжаю. Или лучше было бы если я не видел бы сложных маневров. От зеркал толку мало, они для велов обычно маленькие и не показывают всю полноту ситуации на дороге, зачастую вибрируют, а при аварии будут только дополнительным штырем и осколками.

Извини, но ты не прав. В текущей редакции ПДД сказано "крайний правый ряд". Уже обсуждалось где-то на форуме.
Вот только многие автоводы об этом не знают. Права получали в мохнатом году или покупали недавно.
Один недавно мне доказывал, что роллеры, скейтеры и велосипедисты - это одно и то же. И им нельзя передвигаться по дороге.

Правила стараюсь соблюдать. Мне проще катить по ровненькому асфальту 25-30км/ч и проезжать все перекрестки спокойно, чем косить под пешехода. На перекрестках стараюсь находиться недалеко от крупной техники размером не меньше газельки. И пристраиваться аккуратно у них сбоку или в хвосте. Меня автовод может и не пропустить или не заметить, а вот крупную технику не заметить трудно.
