Spokes mostly break because of material
fatigue caused by low spoke tension and the
resulting load changes on the spokes. If a
spoke-nipple connection comes loose, spoke
failure is unavoidable. With DT Pro Lock®
nipples the connection between spoke and
nipple cannot loosen, tension is maintained.
Internal tests show that a wheel using
DT Pro Lock® nipples outlives the same
wheel built with standard nipples by a
factor of 20.
The patented threadlock system applies
a two-component adhesive to the nipple
thread. When the nipple is screwed onto
the spoke, the glue is acitvated and fully
hardens at room temperature within 6 – 7
hours. Repeated retruing is possible.
For best wheelbuilding results the spoke
tension should be 900 N (90 kg) on the
front wheel and 1100 N (110 kg) on the
driveside of the rear wheel. No oil or grease
should be used for lacing.
DT Pro Lock® nipples are available in
standard or hexagonal head versions. The
hexagonal version is especially suited for
aero (bladed) spokes, as the spoke can
be held close to the nipple with a spoke
holder (see p. 85) while the nipple itself is
turned with a hex key. This way the spoke
cannot twist, allowing for easier and
quicker wheelbuilding.

mox_, у топикстартера ниппели DT Swiss standard brass 2,0мм/12мм, в которых нет компаунда DT Swiss Pro lock®. Но, возможно, есть другой (анаэробный) фиксатор.
Езжай быстрее — всё остальное встанет на свои места!
Обычные ниппеля перед сборкой в маслице замочить целиком неплохо.
